Hi there!
My name is Melissa and I'm a teacher in South Carolina. I wanted to become a teacher since I was old enough to talk and play "school" with my siblings. I am about to start my seventh year teaching and can I just say that every year has taught me something new. With it being my seventh year I thought that I would be completely polished and prepared for everything by now, but there are so many factors that change from year to year. Due to these changes I consider myself a lifelong learner and welcome new ideas into my classroom. This blog offers a way for me to share my experiences in my fourth grade classroom. I plan to share the good, the challenges, and many stories in between. My mission is to connect with other teachers and provide ideas or just comfort to others that share my profession.
